The Institute for Policy Studies is occasionally able to offer partial tuition waivers to meritorious candidates. Because this is a highly competitive program and funds are limited, applicants must generally be able to defray all through other sources of funds such as their employer, foundation grants, or other public or private training grants or fellowships. All fellows are responsible for their own living and travel expenses. Click for possible funding sources.
The Program Tuition includes:
- Access to graduate courses in the Johns Hopkins Masters of Arts in Policy Studies Program.
- Access to Institute and Johns Hopkins University faculty and researchers.
- Office space and access to computer facilities, office equipment, Johns Hopkins libraries, e-mail and the internet.
- Program seminars, cultural programs, assistance with locating housing, pre-departure and post-arrival orientation programs, and on-going logistical aid.
Estimated living expenses include the cost of a modest furnished apartment, meals, books, and incidental expenses. Estimates on additional medical insurance and living expenses for families are available upon request.
